Teachers of the Deaf Alliance Network (TDAN) strives to make the process of requesting interpreting services simple and efficient.
To request an interpreter, please provide the following information:
• Name of organization or individual requesting services
• Date and time of the assignment
• Location (in-person or virtual)
• Type of setting (education, government, medical, employment, etc.)
• Estimated duration of the assignment
• Preferred communication method (ASL, tactile interpreting, etc.)
Our team will respond promptly to confirm interpreter availability and discuss any details necessary to ensure effective communication access.
Example:
TDAN recommends submitting interpreting requests at least 48–72 hours in advance when possible. However, we will make every effort to accommodate urgent requests, subject to the availability of interpreters. Please keep in mind that our requests incur a minimum two-hour fee per assignment.
TDAN provides interpreting services throughout Georgia, with a primary focus on the Savannah and Coastal Georgia region. Virtual interpreting services are also available to support organizations and individuals statewide.
